How Our Water Filters Work
 No matter which of our systems you are interested in the process starts with knowledge. Roy Bowers of High Sierra Filtrations Inc., our exclusive supplier, started his research over 18 years ago. Early on it was discovered that the water treatment industry had a few inherent problems; it was actually making the water worse for drinking by adding salt and removing beneficial minerals. Salt softeners and reverse osmosis systems were also wasting a tremendous amount of fresh water. For every gallon of water that passes through a reverse osmosis system for consumption, one to five are effectively flushed down the drain.
 Our systems are much more than and a single carbon block sitting on your counter top or in a water pitcher. While these highly advertised units are a good first step into the right direction they quickly become expensive to maintain, they break, produce small amounts of water and don't offer you the full protection you deserve.
With our most effective systems we pass the water's source through six stages of treatment mounted on a compact panel. They are designed to address chlorine, chloramines, volatile organic chemicals, heavy metals, and pathogens.
We believe the most efficient way to cleanse water of toxins is through progressive stages of filtration. Each stage is optimized to eliminate specific elements, from simple particles to chemicals that can be absorbed or transformed to harmless compounds.

On our most effective system, city water enters through the bi-pass valve and is treated with high frequency sound waves to structure the water. Minerals are suspended to prevent the effects of hard water in the home. Beneficial minerals are left in the water for your health and drinking pleasure. Surface tension is reduced to increase filtration efficiency. Water with lower surface tension is absorbed into the body more efficiently. Three steps of filtration are then used to reduce contaminates and toxins which include Heavy Metals, Chlorine and Bacteria. Each stage is designed to protect the next stage to maximize efficiency.
